- No refunds will be given following the second class of a session and refunds will not exceed $60.
- No smoking in the training center or within 50 feet of the building.
- Clean up after your dog both inside and outside the training center.
- Handlers preferably should be at least sixteen. Handlers under the age of sixteen must have a parent or guardian remain in the building for the class duration.
- The K9 Learning Center reserves the right to dismiss any handler who is abusive or cruel to their dog, or who is rude, abusive or causes disruptions for the other participants. No refunds will be given.
- In case of weather related issues, the K9 Learning Center will follow the posted school closings for Watervliet Public Schools. Make up classes will be offered.
- All participants are expected to practice with their dogs between class sessions. Homework assignments will be given. While it is understood that life gets in the way at times, you and your dog will not learn and progress if you do not practice.
- No attacked trained dogs allowed. Dogs with known aggressive tendencies are not allowed in classes.
- Private sessions may be arranged by appointment.
The K9 Learning Center, its owner, and/or instructors are not responsible for the loss of property, injuries to persons or dogs or for property damage while on the premises of the K9 Learning Center. It is understood that in dealing with live animals, inherent risks are involved. Participants in classes or unstructured training (drop in training) or other activities at the K9 Learning Center assume full responsibilities for their own actions and that of their dogs. Parents or guardians of minor children are responsible for their minor children. By signing below, I am attesting that my dog(s) is/are current on the veterinarian recommended vaccinations for dogs in Michigan. A K9 Learning Center Policy Disclaimer Acknowledgement form must be signed and submitted and placed on file prior to attending a training class at our facility.
