Welcome to Watervliet's only Dog training facility.
Unlike traditional dog training centers, we work with Both
owner and their dog to achieve the desired obiedience.
No previous training is required, just a willingness to learn
the proper techniques to achieve the desired behavior.
We offer classes for all breeds and all ages:
Puppy Class for dogs 6 months or younger. This class will
focus on basic training , health and wellness, puppy social skills
and introductory behavior concepts
Beginner Class who are at least 6 months or older.
          Class focus is on Basic training, Health and     
          wellness, behavioral concepts, manners and
          socialization
Advanced Beginner / CGC.  Must have completed puppy or
beginner class (or equivalent).  This class will focus on more
complex heeling, additional skills, advanced behavioral concepts,
recalls, coping with distractions and real life situations.  A CCG
(AKC Canine Good Citizen) test will be offered at the last
session.  The Advanced class may be repeated as desired to
reinforce behavior.
Novice.  Must have completed Advanced Beginner (or
equivalent).  This class will work on the competition exercises,
foot working, ring procedure, and proofing necessary for the
Novice level obedience competition.  The Novice class may be
repeated as desired to reinforce desired behaviors.
Rally I.  Must have completed Advanced Beginner (or equivalent)
class.  This class will introduce the Rally stations and provide
opportunities to experience rally courses.  Rally is a course made
up of multiple stations with a sign providing instructions
regarding the next skill that is to be performed.
Rally II.  Must have completed Rally I (or equivalent).  This class
will review Rally courses, reinforce rally stations specifics, and
introduce rules and expectations of Rally competition.  Multiple
practice courses will be utilized.
Unstructured Training.  These training sessions offer the
opportunity for dog/handler teams to practice for competitions or
to refine and advance their training.  Participants can work on the
Novice, Open,, Utility or Rally levels.  Unstructured training works
on a pay as you go basis and these group sessions are
scheduled by appointment.
